Streaking ~ Streaker ~ Streakee ???

I am going on a Streak ~ I am going to be a Streaker ~ I am officially going to be a Streakee ~

No worries, I will be fully clothed.  That may be a disappointment to about 5 % of you and absolute relief to the other 90 % !!!  You see, my streak will be that of running.  I caught a story on the news last night about a Streaker.  He has been running everyday, at least a mile, for the past 25 + years.  I can do that !!!  I even said it out loud.  My father in-law didn't seem to think so, as it is dark before I leave for work and dark when I return.  He didn't think it would be a good idea for me to be out running in the dark (bless his heart).  I couldn't agree more, but assured him that really I would be totally safe.  That no harm would come to me.  For I would be in our garage.  He then asked if I was going to run circles in the garage.  I again, assured him that I would not.  Instead I would be running a very straight path on the treadmill.

So, starting today (well, that was my initial thought) I would spring from bed, throw running gear on and head to the garage.  I  have yet to do that.  I have showered.  Eaten breakfast.  Watched some football.  Loved on my sweet baby bean of a kitty.  He was in need of some mama loves.  Have on more than one occasion, thought about the garage and the lonely treadmill that sits and waits for me.  But I need to take my son shopping.  I had to post this blog.  I have to cook dinner.  Chicken Chili with seasoned Tequilla Lime Chicken and some spicy Jalepeno' Corn Bread.

The day isn't over with.  Back off.  It's not by a long shot.  I'm not even sure who I'm telling to back off, as nobody reads my blogs except Amy, and I don't really picture her getting all up in my grill about me not running yet today.  Besides, after a run I'm usually ready for a nap.  So, perhaps I shall run before I go to bed.  

Yeah, that sounds like a plan.
