By "not" commenting, peoples words have spoken volumes. All I can say, is that I'm proud to be able to live in a country where my voice, my vote and my thoughts can be expressed freely. A Country where everyone is entitled to their opinion. A Country where we are able to vote for who and what we believe in and that is an honor in itself. Well, I could say alot more, but don't want people to feel as if they are being attacked for what they believe in.
People, from the beginning have played the "race card" on this election. People have stated that, if Obama is elected, it will be for his race. When I hear that, I have to chuckle. His race ?!? What is his race ? Would that be the Black race, of his father ? Or would that be the White race of his mother ? Color should NEVER be or have been an issue.
I just don't understand, how we as a society STILL, after all these years, can base an opinion on the color of ones skin. Or the beliefs that one might have held at one time. The religion that may have been followed. Their choice in lifestyle.
I was raised in a Luthern church. Does this mean that I follow the beliefs of the Luthern religion ? Because, I don't. I found the religion to be to restricted. Does this make me not worthy to be heard, with an open mind ? Does this make me not worthy to be associated with ? Do you no longer want to be my friend or read my blog ? Do you no longer want to claim me as part of your family ?
I'm not attacking anyone in anyway for what they believe. They have that right. However, you can still hang on, ever so tightly to what you believe in and still do it with an open mind.
WWJD ?

I agree. I don't think the color of someones skin makes a difference either. It is what they are about and what they stand for that means something to me. That is what scares me about our future.
What exactly scares you about him though ?
Honestly, I'm very curious.
