It's just another manic Monday.......

or perhaps it isn't. We are Dragon free. The sun is out, although be it a tad nippy, at 34 degrees. But the mood in the office is jovial. Much laughing. Much talking. Not so much working.

There is contemplation of lunch. Chatting about turkey day. The inner office workings of an ex-employee and her extra curricular activities. That's rather catty isn't it ? So I will end that topic.

I can't be catty today. We are Dragon free !!!! I have nothing to do. I shouldn't be doing this.

I did watch 24:Redemption last night !!!! Love me some Kiefer !!!! Don't think I will be able to take a whole season. Although I will be in great shape as I have so much adreneline running through me, I end up doing push ups/sit ups during commercials. I know, I'm strange. I just gt SO excited !!!

I have to wait unitl January 11th though. But I have DVR'D !!!! And because 24 was on I missed out on the last episode of TrueBlood. I can watch that tonight. That's what DVR's are for, right ?!?!

I think I'll go. This is to random. Makes no sense. And probably won't be read by anyone, but me.

I discovered Twitter.  No it's not something new.  Well, it's new to me.  I'e seen it on some blogs that I read.  I found it rather cute.  I discovered, whilst reading MLM, Women in Network Marketing, how to use Twitter to the fullest extent.  So I signed up.  I have 1 friend.  That doesn't really surprise me though, as this 1 friend, a.k.a. The Mac God would know about all things technical.  

I added it to my blog !!!  I sent out invites for people to join me on Twitter.  And I've come to the realization that I'm not exactly sure what I am doing !!!! 

Go dog.................................and stop your DAMN barking !!!!

Dear neighbor ~

I know that you are rarely home, what with your profession being as demanding as it is.  You are a State Trooper.  I applaud that.  Really, I do.  Why, I even feel safer having moved into my house knowing that you are right behind me.  As is your dog.  Your beautiful Golden lab.  Your beautiful, barking Golden Lab.  Your beautiful, barking Golden Lab who, when howling sounds like he's barked a screw loose.

I have been told his name.  I have been told that, when he barks I can simply open my door and tell him to stop.  I have no problem doing this, as I am outside telling my dog to stop barking at the barking dog.  Your barking dog.  Let me just say, that this doesn't work.  Well, it works for my dog.  Who stops when she is told.  I can't say the same for your dog.

I am sitting here at my desk reading more and more scientific/medical publications.  Cramming every bit of knowledge into my melon, so that I can answer questions correctly when asked.  So that I can maximize my potential.  So I can...........bark...bark bark bark.......bark bark bark bark bark...bark bark.....bark bark bark bark bark bark.......................................................

WOULD YOU GO OUTSIDE AND TELL YOUR DAMN DOG TO SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!

You are home.  I see your car in the driveway.  Why I even see your current flings car in the driveway.  I don't know, due to your schedule being what it is, if you don't have much of a social life and therefore......get it when you can, but HONESTLY !!!!!!!

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DOG !!!!  HE IS ALONE FOR DAYS ON END !!!!

Your current, WILL leave.  The novelty of dating a cop, WILL fade.  And you no doubt will seek comfort in your dog.  The dog who will never leave you.  The dog who loves unconditionally.  The dog who just wants to see his master.

A man faces a domestic battery charge after allegedly hit his girlfriend with a sandwich as she was driving on Interstate 95 on Friday. Police said the 19-year-old man became angry and hit the woman in the arm and face with a sandwich, knocking her glasses off.
The victim nearly lost control of the car because she couldn't see the road and the man then allegedly ripped off the rear-view mirror and used it to shatter the windshield.

The man was freed on $7,500 bail.





Police have not said what type of sandwich was used in the attack.





What the hell is wrong with people ?!?!?!??! Honestly, a sandwich ?!?!?!?! You would think, that with the state of the economy and the price of food, that one wouldn't be so wasteful.





How screwed in the head do you have to be to assault someone with a sandwich ?!?!?!?!

At least he didn't assault her with his hands.

MARYSVILLE, Wash. - A father arrested after his 6-year-old daughter was fatally shot in their Washington state home allegedly told authorities he had been drinking double shots of vodka while cleaning his guns.
Court papers say Richard Peters told detectives he had asked his daughter, Stormy, to bring him the .45-caliber handgun Sunday. He said he must have pulled the trigger, and the girl fell to the floor. She was pronounced dead Monday. Bail for Peters, 42, was set Monday at $250,000. He has been arrested for investigation of first-degree manslaughter.

His attorney, Annika Carlsten, requested that Peters be released from jail, The Herald newspaper of Everett reported. She argued that Peters isn't a flight risk, or a danger to himself or the community.


Oh I beg to differ, Attorney Annika Carlsten !!!!! Let's review the facts.

HE WAS DRINKING DOUBLE SHOTS OF VODKA WHILE CLEANING HIS GUNS !!!

Did you miss that in his statement ? Because I didn't.

HE ASKED HIS 6 YEAR OLD.....HIS 6 YEAR OLD CHILD......TO BRING HIM HIS GUN.....HIS.....6.....YEAR....OLD......CHILD........HIS GUN.....GUN....CHILD....GUN

Children and guns don't mix. Hell, adults and guns don't mix for that matter. That being obvious by the article above.

HE SHOULD BE RELEASED FOR HE DOESN'T POSE A THREAT

Children are THE most precious gift given to us. We are to nurture them. Love them. Protect them. Care for them. Keep them from harm. No, we are not given a manual on how to care for and protect our children. But common sense should at least DICTATE that.

Personally, I think he should be kept in jail. Not realeased. I think that he should be put in the "general population". You know they don't take kindly to child killers.

Or perhaps he should be released. Perhaps he should be sent home. To his wife.

I can tell you that if I were his wife, (well HONESTLY now, I wouldn't BE married to someone like that.......LET alone have guns in my house........LET alone have my 6 year old child fetch it !!!) I would want him home, so that I couldSHOOT the DUMBA** myself !!!!

It is very very very sad that this child lost her life. That this mother lost a child. That her siblings lost a sibling. I have NO sympathy WHAT SO EVER for this idiot who thought it perfectly fine to drink, while cleaning his guns. Who thought it a NORMAL request to have his 6 year old child BRING HIM A LOADED GUN !!!!!!!

Why was the gun loaded and in the house to begin with ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have a ...........

or rather, I "had" a dream.  It was a lovely little one.  That is until my husband, upon climbing into bed @ 2:30 this morning decided it was necessary to try and suffocate me in the middle of said lovely dream.

It all began about 12 weeks ago with the introduction of the Weekly Football Pool at work.  $5 gets you in.  I won week 2 (with some suggestion, from said attempted murder above).  I, without the help of the murder remained in the pool lead as #2 & #3 for the next 7 weeks.   I didn't play the week Chicago had a bi-week.  Just my rule.  Always has been, always will be. It has always been down to me and 2 other peeps with the point spread being the decider. 

This past week I was pressured into making my pics, as it was Thursday and there was a game.  I was pressured into choosing my husbands picks as well.  I caved.  I picked.  I paid.  I then called my husband to inform him of the picks HE had made !!!!  He requested that I change 4.  I only changed 3.  Which, made him lose 1 less game than he actually did !!!!  Yes, I am that good folks.

Chicago choked on me.  ( I will never go against my boys unless F*&^ing Grossman is starting)

The only other game I lost was Dallas.  Darn Cowpiles anyway !!!!!!  So it came down to Monday nights game.  I, out of the 3 of us, was the only one to choose Cleveland.   I got ridiculed for picking like a woman.  I got trash talked something fierce.  Let me just say that I am seriously LOVING me some Brady Quinn !!!!!!!  Ha ha ha you doubty mustafas !!!!!

I won !!!!  I won for the 2nd time !!!!   I won $90 !!!!!  For the 2nd time !!!!!  I rock, I rock....oh yeah....oh yeah !!!!!

Oh yeah, my dream !!!!!  My dream was a thing of beauty.  I was placed in the center of Soldier Field (Bears home field).  I had the 1985-86 Chicago Bears all around me.  McMahon (loved me some McMahon back in the day), Payton, Gayle, Hampton, Dent, Singleterry, Fencik, The Fridge and let me not forget DITKA !!!!! 

It was awesome, they were giving me LIFETIME tickets on the 50 yard line for EVERY Chicago game !!!  For life.  Did I mention it was for life ?!?!?  It was awesome and it was all because of my mad mad football pool picking skills !!!!!

The crowd was cheering.  Confetti was falling.  We were all doing the Superbowl Shuffle !!!!! 

And then it happened !!!!!!!  I opened my  mouth to yell !!!!   And it was filled with confetti and I couldn't breath !!!!  I started to sputter and cough.

I sat up, ripping my sleeping mask off.  Reaching out in front of me.  Like that would help me get air.  Then my husband pulled away the comforter he had "accidently" thrown across my face.  I was all..."What the HE....double hockey sticks ?!?!?!"

"I'm sorry honey, I didn't mean to, go back to sleep"

GO BACK TO SLEEP ?!?!?   Are you kidding me ?!?!?  You just ruined a perfectly good dream i said, crawling out of bed to use the restroom.  And don't think I'm going to forget that you just tried to KILL ME !!!!!!

Man he needs to go back to work...............he's getting on my LAST nerve !!!!!!!

My journey with Monavie ~

When I was asked to try Monavie believe me I was skeptical. There is NO WAY that some specially processed fruit beverage is going to make me feel better. So, I entered the meeting with a very closed mind. I listened about the company. What it was. What they did. So on and so on. I even tried the juice. It wasn't bad. Granted I did shoot it like it was a shot glass full of Ouzo. So I really didn't get the full taste of it.

I was told of the Origial and the Active blend. Active caught my attention. Sounded great, if I ever decided to get off my cushy tushy and run again. I thought more about it for my husband (UPS) and my son (4 sport kid). Was beneficial for joints, muscle, cartilidge, etc., etc.. So I thought of purchasing a case. They can start immediately.

Then they brought Pulse in the to mix. Pulse, for your heart. Your cardio, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, triglycerides, blood pressure. BLOOD PRESSURE ?!?!? Huh ?!?! By "not" commenting, peoples words have spoken volumes. All I can say, is that I'm proud to be able to live in a country where my voice, my vote and my thoughts can be expressed freely. A Country where everyone is entitled to their opinion. A Country where we are able to vote for who and what we believe in and that is an honor in itself. Well, I could say alot more, but don't want people to feel as if they are being attacked for what they believe in.

People, from the beginning have played the "race card" on this election. People have stated that, if Obama is elected, it will be for his race. When I hear that, I have to chuckle. His race ?!? What is his race ? Would that be the Black race, of his father ? Or would that be the White race of his mother ? Color should NEVER be or have been an issue.

I just don't understand, how we as a society STILL, after all these years, can base an opinion on the color of ones skin. Or the beliefs that one might have held at one time. The religion that may have been followed. Their choice in lifestyle.

I was raised in a Luthern church. Does this mean that I follow the beliefs of the Luthern religion ? Because, I don't. I found the religion to be to restricted. Does this make me not worthy to be heard, with an open mind ? Does this make me not worthy to be associated with ? Do you no longer want to be my friend or read my blog ? Do you no longer want to claim me as part of your family ?

I'm not attacking anyone in anyway for what they believe. They have that right. However, you can still hang on, ever so tightly to what you believe in and still do it with an open mind.
